Anita Briem has been an actor from Iceland for nearly 20 years. Anita Briem, an Icelandic performer. Her most well-known role is playing Jane Seymour, the young woman who will become the third queen of Henry VIII on the television series The Tudors. Briem's acting journey began with the National Theater Iceland when she was nine years old. When she was a young actress she appeared in a variety of plays television programs and radio programs in her native Iceland. Briem moved from Iceland to London at 16 years old and was a part of the stage production Lenin's Love. After turning 19, Briem was accepted at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) which is where she enrolled for the next three years and where she received a diploma in drama and the John Barton Prize in the category of Scenic Fight.
