The forceps injury that caused his trademark "droopy" face was responsible for his birth. The nerve of his head was damaged when the accident occurred, and was also the cause of his the ability to speak with a slur. Stallone was a troubled child. The hostility of his parents and resentment, eventually leading to the divorce of their parents, caused negative impact on both Frank and Frank. Stallone was in foster care for some during his initial years. As Stallone was just five years old aged, his father moved the family into the Washington, D.C. area and he set up his own beauty parlor chain. Stallone spent many years in Maryland and was living alongside his father until 1957 when his parents separated. He had a difficult time academically as well as emotionally being a victim of bullying, and had to quit some schools.
