
Gale was a winner of a modeling contest in Perth at the age of 18. After several years of modeling Gale gained notoriety as she was selected in 1999 as a model in a string of adverts for an Italian company in the field of telecomm, Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) and she was featured in the commercials of the company from 1999 until. In 2003 in 2003, the Australian Tourist Commission retained her as the 'face of Australia for Italy.' Gale has graced the covers of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan and Vogue Italia. Gale has done runway work for Milan Fashion Week for Mariella Marani and Angelo Marani as well as Gianfranco ferre, Genny & Gai Matiolo. Gale can also be a lover of numerous Australian designers like Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnston Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. Gale was the fashion analyst for the Logies the award for an Australian television show, from 2006. Gale quit modeling runways in January 2008 following 15 years. She walked her final catwalk at the David Jones Winter Collection Launch in Sydney in the following week. Her final look was that of the Wonder Woman outfit she was to wear in the unreleased motion picture Justice League of America. Gale was the last to leave Alex Perry 2011 Melbourne Fashion Festival on March 11, 2011. August 2011 marked Gale's 10th anniversary as a designer with department shop David Jones, the longest held fashion contract in Australia. That same month, Gale was named ambassador for L'Oreal Paris, joining Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Gwen Stefani. Gale participated in an L'Oreal shampoo commercial in Australia, New Zealand and Italy.
